Antique Minton Flow Blue Oyster Plate, Pelican & Flora Asian Transfer – SOLD


For your consideration, an Antique Flow Blue Oyster Plate in an Asian influenced pattern, made by Minton, Stoke-On-Trent, England, c. 1879. Extremely scarce & simply beautiful, with 6 oyster wells, a center sauce well & a larger cracker well. The round center is ringed by the distinct Minton mold work of raised daisies. The dark flow blue transfer is a pattern of a Pelican flying among stylized flowers atop an Asian inspired geometric ground. A crisp heavy transfer.
