An Antique Majolica Singing Frog on a Lily Pad small pitcher, Edward Steele, Hanley, England, c. 1870-1880. This smaller pitcher/creamer is a  green & brown frog with a yellow ochre belly & interior. He stands on a footed lily pad, the stem forms an ear shaped handle. A rarer size.

Shown in Cunningham’s book on p.48. Marked with the English Lozenge on the underside of the base.

5 1/2″ high x 4 1/2″ at the widest. Minor professional retouching to the spout.
