A very rare Julius Dressler, Austrian, Art Nouveau, 3 piece Asparagus Serving set consisting of the under plate, asparagus cradle and  sauce boat. Unusual to have the completed set. In the Chrysanthemum pattern, a pale Turquoise-Green ground to both the two main pieces and to the interior of the sauce boat. The cradle is in the form of a bunch of asparagus, curved with pierced flowers for drainage and shows the Mum blooms, leaves and woven green bow. The same glazing of greens, pinks and a deep magenta are carried through to the under tray, which is rectangular and bordered in dimensional leaves in the Art Nouveau style. The saucier has a bowl in the shape of an open Mum sitting on a footing of green leaves and a green twig like handle.

Marked with the Tower stamp used by Dressler in the early 1900’s, also stamped Austria and with mold #4814. The tower has the initials J.D. & B. for Julius Dressler, Biela, now part of the Czech Republic.

The Tray measures 16 1/2″ X 10 ”  &  has a restored nip to a flower petal.

The Cradle is 9 1/2″ X 6″ , no damage.

The Saucier is 4 1/2″ high X 5 1/2″ from handle to spout. There are two small nips to the footing as shown.
