Antique George Jones Majolica ‘Napkin’ 3 pc Strawberry Set – SOLD

For your consideration, a beautiful & scarce 3 piece Strawberry Server, platter, cream & sugar, by George Jones, England, c. 1875. Rare to find all 3 pieces in such wonderful condition. The oval server is fitted with holders for the bulbous shaped  open sugar & handled creamer. Green strawberry leaves are strewn across a turquoise “napkin” embossed in a plaid like pattern. The napkin sits on a white tray with yellow lined rims. The cream & sugar are also glazed in turquoise with pink interiors & bottoms. Strawberry leaves stemming from branches circle the C&S acting as a stop when seated in the holders.  An amazing set!
