For your consideration, a wonderful ANTIQUE FRENCH MAJOLICA FACE JUG produced by St. CLEMENT. Depicting the theme of Comedy & Tragedy, this figural pitcher shows a man’s face on either side emerging from stylized leaves. Beautiful & unusual soft coloring mainly in Green, Cream & pale pink. A deep Pink interior. Measuring 7 3/4″ high X 7″ from handle to spout.  Marked on the base with the raised SC of St. Clement. There is a sliver to the inside rim as shown, a tiny nick to the side of the lower handle & a stable hairline to the base, also pictured. A rather unusual piece!
